  • Great article, I am eagerly waiting for the next steps.
In all my experience with sharepoint articles, this is the easiest to understand and follow by far...when speaking about Sharepoint people tend to start off by praising IIS and WSS and other SS stuff that might be confusing for a beginner.
This article is a perfect mix of good information and down-to-earth-hands-on examples.
  • Thats great feedback Monica, and something for authors to be aware of for future articles
  • good article. hope you dont mind the gates pic. if you do, we can change asap
  • this is SUPER and so "GODSent" as I am working on a leave form myself. I am still fairly new in the SharePoint world and this is my first attempt at forms...or InfoPath for that matter;-) I cannot wait for the next article....hope it doesn't take too long though as I have been tasked to get SharePoint Buy-In from users and this form is just one of the ways I intend on getting the SharePoint usage stats up.
  • Thanks for the Champion post, and for taking the time to put the topic within a very entertaining context. Loving the Gates pic!
  • Great first article Arno! I'm in the process of trying to use a *basic* custom list in SharePoint w/some workflow to do almost the same thing your InfoPath form is doing in your article (minus the automatic date calculation.. not sure how to do this w/a custom list). I'm looking forward to the next article..
  • I'm looking forward to seeing how you're using SharePoint Designer for the workflow. This is a good example that most people should understand and relate too... Good first topic!
  • Awesome Article, Paul - You have approached this with your traditional dosage of dry humour :)
  • I am actually listening to the Chinese Democracy album! I swear
  • Terrific sense of humor, liked your article emensly.
Good luck with the SP Magazine!

    'I'll be back'
  • I have just one piece of advice for you: payroll outsourcing company. This is all I have to say and if you are not familar with the concept please google for it.
